I've seen people and books recommend using 2-pass VBR for rendering. I haven't tried rendering to AVI with my current test videos (less than an hour each). Question: Does anyone know the video settings used by the Burn it to DVD wizard?īefore that, I tried rendering to AVI and then had DVD Architect compress, but that looked even more pixelated, probably because back then I was using about 100 minutes of footage and had to use "fit to disc", which meant I had to compress more. The wizard doesn't give me any options as far as CBR vs VBR or bit rates.
